Youth World Dallas Learning Center is a nonprofit program. Your donations and sponsorship help children
and teens achieve success in education, personal talents and goals.

Impact children in high crime, low income environment. Inspire hope for their future and relieve
family economic burden.

Spring Break Kickoff Outreach
This event made a big impact on the 586 kids in so many ways. Every child attending received an abundance of groceries to take home for spring break week. While at Youth World they enjoyed grilled hamburgers, carnival games, a petting zoo, bounce houses, and music provided by DJ Plush. Mainly, they enjoyed lots of love from all the volunteers, in addition to great entertainment and character building messages from break-dancer extraordinaire, Regan Strand. Thank you to sponsors and vendors for a tremendous day including: the Dallas Police, PAL, Dallas Baseball Alliance, Dancing Divas, Annette Praises, Gateway Church, Cargill Meats, Walmart, Target and Kroger. ;

Socks & Cereal Outreach
At least 423 children were blessed with new pairs of socks and boxes of cereal. Thanks to all the volunteers who showed these kids that they too have a valentine who cares about them. Special thanks to Gateway Students and Pantego Bible Church youth for reaching out to Youth World kids in February.

All The Roberts

Dear Friends,

I stepped out the front door of the new building and a little boy, worn shoes and dirty clothes, was walking across our parking lot. I greeted him and he immediately responded back with "it's my birthday". As I filled his arms with a case of sports drinks, I learned 12-year old Robert lived nearby with his grandmother, and desperately wanted someone to acknowledge his importance in this world. I paused and prayed, "God, let Youth World reach all the Roberts".

Youth World looks forward to the new challenges and opportunities 2013 will bring. We are eagerly awaiting our transition to the new facility and have made a list of materials and goods that will make our transition much more successful.

Please prayerfully consider how you might assist and sow a seed into the Youth World 2013 Transition. All donations are tax exempt. Youth World is also close to completing the Matching Campaign so your donation today could be doubled in value.

God Bless!

Your friend in the community,

Darla Shirley
